A Prayer for the New Year!

Our Heavenly Father,

We thank you for keeping us safe in your tender care and we thank you for all your blessings that you have bestowed upon us and our dear ones.

A new year has begun and we embrace it as it is a gift from you.

We ask that you bless our world with love, peace, tolerance and acceptance for everyone through your grace.

Father we pray that your light enters each heart and mind and that through your divine intervention the veil of darkness which dares to plague our earth with war, hatred, terror and disease be lifted and removed forever.

We humbly ask dear Father that you guide our World leaders through your Holy Spirit to make the right decisions concerning the safety, peace and happiness for your people on your earth.

We place our daily lives in your tender care and we trust and have faith that you are beside us every moment even though there are times when we feel alone; you are always with us.  You give us strength and courage in times of trouble and hardship.

We give you thanks and praise for your constant love and compassion.

We love you and adore you Heavenly Father.

Amen!

A Christmas Prayer!

May the peace, love and joy of Jesus Christ live in your heart.

Loving Father, help us to remember the birth
of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels
the gladness of the shepherds
and the worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate and
open the door of love all over the world.
Amen!

Merry Christmas dear One!!!

Trials and Tribulations!

God has impressed on my heart that when life becomes tough and we go through trials and tribulations it’s a test of our love and faith we have for Him and in Him.  It’s a way of drawing us back to His precious love and heart.

Very often we take life for granted and we carry on in our busy lives without acknowledging or connecting and having communion with our loving Father.

Proverbs 3:11-12 My child, don’t ignore it when the Lord disciplines you … For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.

Wham!!!! Trials and tribulations happen to everyone.  God never promised us that life was going to be easy.  In fact His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, went through many trials and tribulations and these were a testament to everyone to teach us how much love, faith, endurance and courage Jesus had for His father our father.

When we face these hard times it’s not God punishing us.  It’s merely a chance for us to grow in strength of character and to grow into beautiful, courageous, compassionate souls.

James 1:3 For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

I personally have been through many hard times and it’s my faith and love for God that has given me the strength to get me through them every time.

Very often I’ve felt all alone going through my trials and tribulations, but in my heart I know that God is always with me and He hears and answers my prayers every time.  It may take some time for my prayers to be answered but I know that however long it takes God will answer my prayers for He has promised me that He will take care of me.

Promises from God:

God offers healing to the broken hearted.  Psalm 147:3
God has mercy upon those who suffer.  Zechariah 9:12
God comforts those who suffer. 2 Corinthians 1:5

The main thing is to keep speaking to God when times are hard.  Communication with God is so important.

Whenever I’ve felt sad and depressed, it feels very difficult to pray because my heart is so heavy with sadness, but I persevere because deep down inside I know that God wants to hear me speak to Him.

Luke 7:13 When the Lord saw her, his heart overflowed with compassion.  “Don’t cry!” He said.

You see God knows everything about us, but He wants us to come to Him and to tell Him all our problems so that we can release our problems to Him.  By doing this we are entrusting ourselves completely to His love and into His care and it’s our way of telling Him that we have faith and trust in Him.

Psalm 103:13 The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.

There is no trouble that comes to us without the watchful eye of our heavenly Father seeing it and sympathizing with us.  To know that He knows is the beginning of healing.

Life is about  FAITH, HOPE, LOVE and TRUST

These four things are the most important lessons to learn.  Everything else emanates from them.

Hebrews 11:1 What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen.  It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.

Without hope and faith we have nothing.

Promises from God:

Hope gives us courage Job 11:18
Knowing God has a plan for your life brings hope for the future.  Jeremiah 29:11

Sending you love and light!
