A Prayer for Thanksgiving!

God of all blessings,
source of all life,
giver of all grace:

We thank you for the gift of life:
for the breath
that sustains life,
for the food of this earth
that nurtures life,
for the love of family and friends
without which there would be no life.

We thank you for the mystery of creation:
for the beauty
that the eye can see,
for the joy
that the ear may hear,
for the unknown
that we cannot behold filling the universe with wonder,
for the expanse of space
that draws us beyond the definitions of our selves.

We thank you for setting us in communities:
for families
who nurture our becoming,
for friends
who love us by choice,
for companions at work,
who share our burdens and daily tasks,
for strangers
who welcome us into their midst,
for people from other lands
who call us to grow in understanding,
for children
who lighten our moments with delight,
for the unborn,
who offer us hope for the future.

We thank you for this day:
for life
and one more day to love,
for opportunity
and one more day to work for justice and peace,
for neighbors
and one more person to love
and by whom be loved,
for your grace
and one more experience of your presence,
for your promise:
to be with us,
to be our God,
and to give salvation.

For these, and all blessings,
we give you thanks, eternal, loving God,

through Jesus Christ we pray.

Amen.

Sending Love & Prayers to the Philippines & Vietnam.

Please join me in this prayer for our Filipino and Vietnamese friends suffering in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Haiyan.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, Who went about doing good and healing all our infirmities, I ask you to bless all the people who have suffered the devastating effects of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and Vietnam.

Strengthen those who are injured, comfort those who have lost loved ones, gather those who are lost and give courage to all to rebuild their lives once again.

O Lord, You suffered and died for us and you understand suffering.

Give them the strength in body, courage in spirit and patience in pain.

Calm their fears and increase their trust in You and hasten to their aid.

I also pray for the safe keeping of all nations from famine, earthquakes, floods, fire and civil wars.

I ask You, O Lord our God, to hear our prayers.

Bless us to help those in need and give us courage to be Your face to all those suffering.

Through the prayers of the Holy Father Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and save us.

Amen.

Sending love and light to everyone around the world!

The Twin Flame Energy!

"The Twin Flame is NOT simply another person in a physical body to whom you are attracted on the Earth plane. Your Twin Flame is an integral part of your own energy field that is and has always been with you -- before, during and after your life in a body. You are the same energy.

We are told that every relationship we have ever had has been a mirror or reflection of the inner state of our own heart at that time. Whatever beliefs are in your heart concerning Love, concerning relationship, will absolutely manifest before you in a partner or potential partner. In that sense "the Twin" is an absolute mirror or reflection and will show himself/herself in the world around you as a person embodying whatever your heart believes about Love. You will see reflected as much of the pure Love of the Twin as your heart is able to hold at any given moment.

Most of us have had ample evidence of this if we review our relationship history. To move to the purity of Twin Flame Love we all desire, it is time for us to remember who we are. We are deliverers of Love. We are cells in the heart of God. Our "Twin within" is waiting for us to claim our Wholeness and the Wholeness that we are in God so that a reflection of that which is Love and only Love may walk toward us on this Earth."

"I Love You!"

The Real Meaning of "I Love You"
By Robert Holden

Robert Holden, PhD, author of the book Loveability: Knowing How to Love and Be Loved, explains what we're actually saying with those three little words.

"I see you"

When people say "I love you" and it is meant truly, they are not relating to you as just a body; they see the real you. Love sees not just with the eyes, but with the heart, too, and it sees your soul. Love sees your eternal loveliness. Love sees the person you are trying to be. Love sees how loveable you really are. That’s why hearing the words "I love you" can give you the courage to be seen. Hence, love helps us to bring each other more fully into existence.

"I accept you"

In love, we see each other because we do not judge each other. "I love you" can mean "I see you" and also "I accept you." To accept another person is a fully sacred act and never a half-hearted love. It means, "I offer you love, and nothing that is not love." Seen in this light, "I love you" is a vow of acceptance between two friends who are declaring to each other, "I will not judge you" and "I will not label you" and "I will not condemn you." Each time you say "I love you," you are renewing this vow of acceptance and making a commitment to being the presence of love in someone’s life.

"I thank you"

Love is a grateful heart. When you say "I love you" to someone, you are saying, "I am grateful for you" and "I am grateful to you." This gratitude is recognition for all this person gives to you by his or her presence in your life. You are saying, "Thank you for loving me" and "Thank you for seeing me" and "Thank you for accepting me" and, as the old lyric goes, "Thank you for letting me be myself." Gratitude recognizes that none of us can discover who we really are by ourselves. It is by our undivided relatedness with each other that we experience our loveability.

"I am here for you"

Each time you say "I love you," you are really saying "I am here for you." "Being here" means being fully present in the relationship—physically, emotionally and spiritually. Saying "I love you" means "I am committed to you" and "I am committed to us." You are telling that person you are in this relationship. You are not waiting for the relationship to sparkle or to improve before you commit to it. You are not playing it safe. You are not wearing a mask. You are not just trying to get something. You are really here, and this relationship really matters to you.

An I Love You Inquiry really can transform our relationship to love and to each other. One final thought: Every time you feel moved to say "I love you," it is because you recognize that "love is here." When you tell your friend, your lover or your child, "I love you," you are acknowledging that we are always held in love—even when we can't see it. In every relationship, there will be challenges and conflicts and occasions when we cannot feel the love. In these moments, one heartfelt "I love you" can restore us to love's awareness, which sees that if I am present and you are present, then love must be present, too.
