Live Life and Smile!

"I have forgiven mistakes that were indeed almost unforgivable. I've tried to replace people who were irreplaceable and tried to forget those who were unforgettable. I've acted on impulse; have been disappointed by people when I thought that this could never be possible. But I have also disappointed those who I love. I have laughed at inappropriate occasions. I've made friends that are now friends for life. I've screamed and jumped for joy. I've loved and I've been loved. But I have also been rejected and I have been loved without loving the person back. I've lived for love alone and made vows of eternal love. I've had my heart broken many, many times! I've cried while listening to music and looking at old pictures. I've called someone just to hear their voice on the other side. I have fallen in love with a smile. At times, I thought I would die because I missed someone so much. At other times, I felt very afraid that I might lose someone very special (which ended up happening anyway). But I have lived! And I still continue living every day.  I'm not just passing through life and you shouldn't either... Live! The best thing in life is to go ahead with all your plans and your dreams, to embrace life and to live everyday with passion, to lose and still keep the faith and to win while being grateful.  All of this because the world belongs to those who dare to go after what they want. And because life is really too short to be insignificant."

Prayers for Drummer Lee Rigby and his Family and Friends.

R.I.P.

Lord our God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy.  Drummer Lee Rigby was violently taken from us. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family and friends by the power and protection of the cross. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Into Your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust Drummer Lee Rigby.  In this life, You embraced him with Your tender love; deliver him now from every evil and bid him enter eternal rest.

The old order has passed away because You gave us Your only Son as our Redeemer. Through the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, welcome him into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping nor pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with Your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.

Amen.

The Magic of Love!

The Magic of Love

Love is like magic and it always will be.

For love still remains life’s sweet mystery!!

Love works in ways that are wondrous and strange

And there’s nothing in life that love cannot change!!

Love can transform the most commonplace

Into beauty and splendour and sweetness and grace.

Love is unselfish, understanding and kind,

For it sees with its heart and not with its mind!!

Love is the answer that everyone seeks …

Love is the language, that every heart speaks.

Love can’t be bought; it is priceless and free,

Love, like pure magic, is life’s sweet mystery!!

Introverts and Spirituality

Why do introverts tend to be highly spiritual?

Society dictates that we follow specific images projected by the main stream media, so why do introverts tend to rebel from these stereotypes?

Introverts tend to look within for answers versus having the need for societal approval. Often, extroverts will view the introvert as being antisocial, stuck up or as loners, but even with these labels, the introvert will stand his or her ground with complete disregard for how others perceive him or her.

If you are an introvert, then you will find complete comfort in solitude. You often find yourself immersed in deep thought and contemplation. Your need for approval by others is significantly less than the extrovert as you realize that all answers come from within.

While you may partake on social occasions, you often enjoy simply watching the environment around you versus being the center of attention, which many introverts try to avoid. On a metaphysical level, the introvert realizes how we are all connected and does not need the external approval and attention that is often sought after by the extrovert.

Approximately 75% of the world are extroverts, which makes the introvert the minority, yet the introvert will not succumb to societal pressure in order to conform.

While some introverts may be shy, there is a big difference between shyness and being introverted. Shyness is a facet of social anxiety and the fear of rejection while being introverted is the ability to be at social function without the need for complete social interaction. For example, if the introvert was at a party, he or she can easily have conversations with many people, but often chooses not to.

The introvert can have extroverted tendencies while still remaining to be an introvert. Many introverts will pick and choose the time and place to be extroverted, such as waiting in line at the grocery store. In this situation, the conversation is limited and there is no long term commitment to continue the conversation, allowing the introvert to have social interaction without being forced into it. Within minutes, the introvert will once again find the tranquility of being the observer.

Within the solitude, the introvert finds much time to reflect on life. He or she will have a small group of close friends and will feel comfortable being themselves around these people.

The extrovert will feel uncomfortable when there is a small break in the conversation while the introvert understands that sometimes words do not need to be spoken to appreciate the company of the person they’re with. A hug and a smile speak louder than words for the introvert.

The introvert is amused by the extrovert and will observe their mannerisms. An introvert will tend to be on the outside of a group, looking within.

Introverts prefer to watch, listen and observe and don’t talk very much but when they’re with people they feel close to, they will openly talk to about things that they’re passionate about.

Many people within the spiritual and metaphysical genres are introverts and often look within for answers. They are more apt to understand the principle of oneness and how we are all connected on a deeper level than the extrovert, who looks for physical approval.

Introverts tend to use the right side of their brain and often are often musically or artistically inclined. They may also be poets or philosophers and can easily see outside the box.

The introvert will question the origins of what society has told us to be the truth and unlike a scientist, he or she does not need empirical data to maintain his or her own beliefs. The metaphysical fields often attract the introvert because of this.

Inner reflection is commonly used by the introvert as he or she will look within for answers versus what he or she may have been taught. The introvert will use discernment as he or she weighs what has been learned externally versus what he or she feels resonates as the truth within.

Introverts are often empaths as well. Their sensitivity to how other people feel tends to be heightened as opposed to the extrovert who is more consumed with how others are perceiving himself or herself.

Extroverts may also be highly spiritual and will display their spirituality more openly than the introvert. They are easily able to talk to anyone about spiritual and metaphysical topics while the introvert will pick and choose who he or she will talk to about these issues.

The bottom line: despite being only 25% of the population, the introvert will rarely change their attitude or personality to appease others, with the exception of their employment. Many introverts have learned how to be “temporary extroverts” but in the end, their comfort zone brings them back to be an introvert. While society will continue to make the introvert feel like an outcast, the introvert will not be persuaded by peer pressure or conformity in order to appease others because he or she already knows that the truth is within.

Happy Mother's Day 2013!

The Best mother that I LOVE

When God set the world in place,
when He hung the stars up in space,
when He made the land and the sea,
then He made you and me.
He sat back and saw all that was good,
He saw things to be as they should.
Just one more blessing He had in store;
He created a mother, but whatever for?
He knew a mother would have a special place
to shine His reflection on her child's face.
A mother will walk the extra mile
just to see her children smile.
She'll work her fingers to the bone
to make a house into a home.
A mother is there to teach and guide,
a mother will stay right by your side.
She'll be there through your pain and strife,
she'll stay constant in your life.
A mother will lend a helping hand
until you have the strength to stand.
She'll pick you up when you are down,
when you need a friend she'll stick around.
A mother is one who listens well,
will keep her word; will never tell.
A mother never pokes or pries
but stands quietly by your side,
giving you the strength you need,
encouraging you to succeed.
A mother is one who can be strong
when you need someone to lean on.
You're more than a mother to me;
a reflection of Him in your face I see,
a love that knows no boundaries.
I'm glad that you chose to be
all this and more to me.
You share a love that knows no end,
you're more than my mother,
you are my friend.

The Meaning of Love!

The most common notion of love that some people have is that love only exists between two individuals who are compatible, who have a sexual attraction for each other and who are usually young and attractive.  This idea has been impregnated into many minds through novels, movies and music.  So many people have been misled by this belief unfortunately because this kind of love does not last very long.

When they discover that this love doesn’t last, they begin to blame themselves or their partner and then they look around for another relationship to compensate for their need and hurt.  This love stems from the ego and is not emanating from the heart.

In truth, love comes straight from the heart.  When we discover that our heart is filled with love it would then serve us better to harness this love and then to share it openly with pure intentions to another.  No one can teach us about love.  Love must be discovered by ourselves and we should pay attention to our heart and the vibrations and sensations of it.  Only then will we discover what true love is.

Many people pay more attention to their minds, their thoughts and their eyes instead of concentrating upon their heart and what it is telling them.

Far too many people are waiting for that one person who will give them love and who will fill them with an excitement and exhilaration to make them feel good.  They also want the security from the other too.  But unfortunately this kind of love is a dependent love. It stems from fear and as you know fear is the opposite to love.

The idea that this special person may leave them through death or infidelity causes fear.  All sorts of negative emotions arise with dependent love.  Possessiveness, jealousy, disappointment, disrespect, anger, depression and anxiety begin to emerge with a dependent love relationship.

True love has nothing to do with the qualities of the other person.  True love is unconditional love.  True love does not expect and demand from others.  True love gives freely and openly without expecting anything in return.  It is given with an open heart in faith and trust. True love offers compassion, kindness, understanding, forgiveness, respect and gratitude.

When we are able to grasp and practice true love we will be on our way to spiritual enlightenment.

Whatever we give away half-heartedly always results in failure!

It is important to note that there is no need to be fearful of love either.  Many people put up walls around themselves to protect themselves from being hurt or rejected.  No one can kill your soul.  It carries on and finds another to love and so it is.  The main purpose of love is to love God and yourself and by doing so God will bring other souls to you with whom you can share this divine love with.

There is nothing wrong by loving yourself.  It is not egocentric at all.  It is discovering who we truly are as souls and loving the wonderful qualities our Creator has breathed into each of us.  When we discover that we are magnificent souls and human beings, all the past hurt that we have accumulated from past experiences will fall away.  As soon as self-loathing, judgement, disillusionment, hatred and anger dissipate a new rebirth takes place.  A rebirth of freedom, joy, happiness, success, self-respect, confidence, kindness, love and compassion emerges.

We are all connected to each other on this planet.  We all breathe the same air and receive God’s  energy in the same way.  The sooner the illusion of separation is dissolved the better for all of mankind.  There is one creation and everyone has a stake in it.  When we learn to love each other in truth and unconditionally we will rid this world of fear and hatred.

True love must be practiced every day.  It should be taught and shared with others too so that it will spread from one to the other around our world. This is the only way we can change our world into the planet that our Creator intended it to be.  Mankind must lift its consciousness to a higher and lighter vibration that being a consciousness of True Love.  Only by doing this can we change and heal our planet.

Namaste!

Become the Love!

Become loving. When you are in the embrace, become the embrace. Become the kiss. Forget yourself so totally that you can say, “I am no more. Only love exists." Then the heart is not beating, but love is beating. Then the blood is not circulating, but love is circulating. Then eyes are not seeing, love is seeing. Then hands are not moving to touch, love is moving to touch.

What Goes Around Comes Around

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.

Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn’t look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was those chills which only fear can put in you. He said, “I’m here to help you, ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.”

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, “And think of me.”
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn’t erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: “You don’t owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I’m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.”
Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.

Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard….
She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, “Everything’s going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.”

There is an old saying “What goes around comes around.”

You are Wonderful!

“You were born with potential.

You were born with goodness and trust.

You were born with ideals and dreams.

 You were born with greatness.

You were born with wings.

You are not meant for crawling, so don't.

You have wings.

Learn to use them and fly.”

An Affirmation for Each Day!

Say it to yourself, "I am a wonderful Being.
There is nothing that I cannot achieve.
The world addresses itself to me always in positive ways.
Everything always works out magnificently for me.
I live a charmed life.
Things are supposed to and always do, go well for me.
Seas part for me.
I have the resources of the Universe at my disposal.
I live in an environment where I am inspired to a new thought.
And as soon as I give birth to it, things align in order to bring me the actualization or the manifestation of it.
I am an extension of Source Energy.
I am God in a physical body and I am good.
And because I am good, good things come to me.
And if I am sick it is temporary because it is natural that I be well.
And if I am not abundant of things that are important to me,
it is temporary because it is natural that I be abundant.
And there is nothing that I am supposed to do, but all kinds of things that I want to do."

Go with the Flow of Life!

“To offer no resistance to life is to be in a state of grace, ease, and lightness. This state is then no longer dependent upon things being in a certain way, good or bad. It seems almost paradoxical, yet when your inner dependency on form is gone, the general conditions of your life, the outer forms, tend to improve greatly. Things, people, or conditions that you thought you needed for your happiness now come to you with no struggle or effort on your part, and you are free to enjoy and appreciate them - while they last. All those things, of course, will still pass away, cycles will come and go, but with dependency gone there is no fear of loss anymore. Life flows with ease.”
