A Prayer for those affected by the Tragedy in Aurora, Colorado.



My heart and soul is deeply saddened by the tragedy that occurred in Aurora, Colorado on Friday.  My prayers and thoughts are with all those who have been affected by this senseless tragedy.
God’s mercy is limitless. Sometimes the simplest and best prayer in times of trouble is the prayer that says, “Lord, have mercy!” In fact, in the Gospels, it was often the Lord’s mercy that prompted many of the great physical healings that He performed. If your mind is distracted or confused and you can’t seem to get your thoughts together, simply call out to God for His mercy.
Psalm 4:1 Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
This prayer is for all those dear ones who are suffering from loss and pain at this time.


Dear Father,
I come before you with a broken heart wrenched in pain and sorrow.  Please heal my heart, mind and spirit and give me your peace and everyone else who needs your healing and comfort at this time. 
Father, I thank you for loving me and for feeling my pain.  Thank you for your compassion.  Please transmute this sadness and pain into joy and peace.  Grant me the wisdom to see this situation through the eyes of your loving angels. 
Thank you Father for reminding me of how fragile and precious my life is.  Give me the grace to understand and trust that there is a divine plan behind this situation. Remove from me all hatred, bitterness and fear and instill in me love, forgiveness and acceptance.
Amen.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. Manifest the Glory of God Within!

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.  We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.   It is not just in some of us;  it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear,  our presence automatically liberates others."

Dark Night of the Soul!



There are times when we may feel that we are totally alone and isolated from God.  It is very difficult to pray when this happens. This is known as the “Dark Night of the Soul”.  Even Jesus experienced this feeling on the cross.  Before dying he cried out "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" which means "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?" Matthew 27: 45-46.

Be assured that we are never alone.  We can never be separated from God our Creator as we are one with Him.  Every vibration and emotion we emit is transmitted directly to our Creator.   

When you find yourself unable to pray, sit quietly and God will automatically feel your emotions and know your thoughts.  Your heart is God’s heart.  Your consciousness is God's consciousness.  The pain and sadness you may be experiencing at the time is passing through to God.  Know that you do not need to utter words to connect to God.  Be still in God and He will do the rest.   Your intentions and faith is all that is needed to bring your consciousness back to God.  Remember it is merely your ego that isolates you from your Creator.



I sit silently before you my Father,

Feel my heart.

I merge myself with you,

My life is in your hands.


 Your will be done.

Unending Love!


I seem to have loved you in numberless forms,

What Lies On The Other Side?



A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."
 Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
 "You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"
 The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room with his tail wagging and an eager show of gladness.
 Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside... He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing. I know my Master is there and that is enough.
