God's Most Beautiful Creation is Love!

I’d give anything to see the sun set on the horizon,

I’d do anything to gaze at a full moon in the night sky;

Even a rainbow would make me smile,

And I’d love to swim in crystal clear waters

Of an untouched sea;

Sometimes I’ll see a shooting star,

And try to gaze from afar,

All the diamonds in the night sky;

The mist on the mountains is breathtaking,

As is walking in rainforest;

To see cascading waterfalls I’d do anything for,

As to stand on the highest peak in the world,

And look at the sights below;

I’d love to soar on wings above the clouds,

Across the bluest skies;

I’d do anything to see

All the beautiful things in the world,

Like a red rose blooming in the Sahara,

Like a river twisting through a dusty land,

All the beautiful things in the world;

But I also know I am looking at

God’s most beautiful creation,

Every time you smile,

And every time I look into your eyes.

Valley of Troubles!

How it delights the heart of God when we allow Him to take our valleys of trouble, whether self-inflicted or other-inflicted, and turn them into doors of hope!  When we do so, we are expressing our faith in His love even in the worst of situations, and refusing to fall back into fear.

God does not withdraw His mercy when we are in the Valley of Trouble, whether the trouble results from an outside source or from our own unfaithfulness.  If you have failed the One who loves you most;  if you have not walked in obedience and now find yourself in the Valley of Trouble;  if you feel your sin is too great for the mercy of God - look at the cross.  Look at your Savior.  Do not deny His holy character by refusing His forgiveness, cleansing and unfailing love.

We can delight God's heart by recognizing that sin is serious business and by determining to live in holiness.  But we must also acknowledge God's merciful willingness to save us from our own humanity, forming doors of hope when we confess and repent.  God longs to turn your Valley of Troubles into a door of hope.  Let Him!

Dear Father, I want to trust You with my whole heart, but I admit that I sometimes doubt the fullness of Your love for me.  And even though You have shown me only mercy and grace, I sometimes fail You.  Then my feelings betray me and I lose my sense of Your presence.

Loving Father, when my Valley of Trouble is of my own doing, help me realize anew that You will not withdraw Your love for me, but will instead offer forgiveness and restoration.  And when my Valley of Trouble results from the actions of others, help me see the door of hope You are shaping on my behalf.

You have gone before Me, Jesus.  I want to keep my eyes on the cross, the eternal proof of Your love.  Thank You for being a worthy High Priest.  Please grant me the grace to trust Your love even when I fail You, or when others fail me.  I recognize with new appreciation the transformation of my troubles into doors of hope.  Amen.

Create your life!

Each day is a new canvas to paint upon.  Make sure your picture is full of life and happiness, and at the end of the day you don't look at it and wish you had painted something different.

There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it.  You surround yourself with people who make you laugh.  Forget the bad, and focus on the good.  Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't.  Life is too short to be anything but happy.  Falling down is a part of life, getting back is living.

Enjoy a moment that is without worry, letting go of all fears and concerns even if you can only manage it for a short while.  Feel good things, feel joy, feel the excitement of celebrating these visions.  This is a form of meditation and prayer, since your feelings are your prayers.  At times of uncertainty, it is important to take these moments as often as you can - so that the feelings you send out as prayers are asking for joy, not for more fear inducing occurrences.  You may not be able to control what happens in the world, but you can control how you react to it, and what you create from there.

Make a wish and place it in your heart.  Anything you want, everything you want.  Do you have it?  Good.  Now believe it can come true.  You never know where the next miracle is going to come from, the next smile, the next wish come true.  But if you believe that it's right around the corner, and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it.  You just might get the thing you're wishing for.  The world is full of magic.  You just have to believe in it.  So make your wish.  Do you have it?  Good.  Now believe in it, with all of your heart.

Only the Spirit can do it!

When it comes to the process of learning to walk in love, not fear, we must allow the Spirit to help us trust God's magnificent character of love.  We must consciously accept His incredible love for us regardless of how others may have betrayed or wounded us.  As we do He will lead us through the practical, day-by-day choices that build in us the habit of instinctive love.

We will never let Him transform us in this way, however, if we do not believe profoundly that our Father loves us and has our best interests at heart.  If we believe only His power and promises but not the love behind them, we will fall back constantly into our old reasoning or evaluating.  We cannot give only intellectual assent to this great love of God;  we must allow its reality to saturate our entire being.  He is madly in love with us and will not let us go!  If past wounds hinder, then we must ask for and receive healing for them.

How will we recognize His Spirit at work in us?  In a myriad of ways in our daily lives.  We will choose to be unselfish when we could be selfish.  We will choose to accommodate people when we do not need to do so.  We will choose not to fear the outcome of our circumstances even when we cannot understand them.  We will dare to forgive when the natural mind says, Why should I?

When someone makes a mistake that seemingly affects your well-being, trust that God is in it and refuse to lash out.  You will hear the voice of your Father deep inside your spirit, saying Walk in love this time, not fear.

What a refreshing challenge!  And how joyful you will feel, knowing that when you obey, you truly are delighting the heart of God.

Father, I recognize that it delights You when I walk in perfect love - a love that flows instinctively, childlike, from my spirit to You.  I recognize, too, that this kind of love, drives away fear and enhances my oneness with You.

Help me begin walking more consistently in this joyful way.  Help me resist the pull of my old nature to control reason and evaluate.  Help me instead to trust.  May our oneness be so complete and my love for You so instinctive that Your nature in me takes precedence every time.

Renew my mind, loving God, by Your precious Holy Spirit.  Teach me how to walk in love, not fear, and make it my delight to thrill You with a love that grows more instinctive every day.  Thank You, Father, Amen.

A special dinner!

About making the right choices
by Max Lucado

I have something against the lying voices that noise our world.  You've heard them.  They tell you to swap your integrity for a new sale.  To barter your convictions for an easy deal.  To exchange your devotion for a quick thrill.

They whisper.  They woo.  They taunt.  They tantalize.  They flirt.  They flatter. "Go ahead, its OK."  "Don't worry, no one will know."

The world rams at your door;  Jesus taps at your door.  The voices scream for your allegiance;  Jesus softly and tenderly requests it.  The world promises flashy pleasure;  Jesus promises a quiet dinner .... with God.

Which voice do you hear?

In the eye of the Storm.

"Father, remind us that a divine inheritance will be our reward for faithfulness to you.  Help us to make faithfulness a priority for beginning our day."

It's all up to you!

The Starfish

Once a man was walking along a beach.  The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.  Off in the distance he could see a person going back and forth between the surf's edge and the beach.  Back and forth this person went.  As the man approached, he could see that there were hundreds of starfish stranded on the sand as the result of the natural action of the tide.

The man was stuck by the apparent futility of the task.  There were far too many starfish.  Many of them were sure to perish.  As he approached, the person continued the task of picking up starfish one by one and throwing them into the surf.

As he came up to the person, he said, "You must be crazy.  There are thousands of miles of beach covered with starfish.  You can't possibly make a difference."  The person looked at the man.  He then stooped down and picked up one more starfish and threw it back into the ocean.  He turned back to the man and said, "It sure made a difference to that one!"

Spirit of Love

By Sullee J.

Love is enigma, Love is divine, Love is the cure, but the infection to those blind.  Love is pure, Love is undefined, Love is beyond just a feeling, surely Love is undermined.  Love is many heart beats, but its rhythm the same, for Love is the light through dark streets, it has not image or name.  Love is bright, Love is light, Love is just, Love is life.

Love helps the weak, Love contains the spirit, Love embellishes the person, for Love is coherent.  Love is the problem, yet is also the solution.  A long time ago, I heard Love is the filter to its own pollution.

They say, Love is confusing, Love is illusive, Love is lame, where as lust is amusing.  They say, Love is a traitor, Love is addiction.  How can Love heal the heart, but sill cause the affliction?  They say, Love is a dream, so I stay in wonder, shall I stay asleep?  Or awake from its thunder?

Love is pain, Love is bliss, Love is the acceptance, for all that exists.  Love is to see imperfection and treat it perfect, for Love sees no error, and if so, that defeats the purpose.

Love is the eyewitness, and I witness that Love is a high, which is the highest which I've been prescribed to try.  For anything else overdosed can cause death, where as Love helps the inside, cry, die.

The misled have decided, Love is cruel, Love is one sided.  The hurt have claimed it, Love is for fools, Love is all painted.  The pimps have it twisted, Love for the dough, a way to create mischief.  The thieves play it wicked, treat the victim with a dose of ambition.  Call it hope and draw the conviction, see, leading on is the strategy, in which they create a guilt trip.  A way to catch feelings, but never threw their own, the plan was so terrific.  Now the one who fell, caught up in the physics, thought  Love was everything, till' they were made to believe it's all sadistic.  You see how it plays out;  Love is real for those that never got played out.  Although, whom it has hurt don't realize what they were caught in would never have worked.  So it was actually a mechanism of God, too deep a thought for you to grasp its worth.

Love is the internal relief from the inferno within, when it begins to burn and it's deep, from the burden of kin. Love vaccinates the heart and emancipates the mind.  Love is true luxury, for Love always shines.  See, people often mistake Love with external attraction.  Caught up in its valence, but the hormonal affection is not the full fraction.

We lose hope in the word because we fail to understand that Love is more action.  Broken hearts galore, those who fall for false caption.  See Love is both:  To some, a form of life, and others a sort of strategy.  Some commit when the feeling is right, while others use it to perform fallacy.

In today's world Love is misinterpreted, misused for foul purposes.  Some give up their life trying to prove it, while others denounce its services.  Love is rare in the world we reside in, surely it's the multiplication of Love's existence that we must prescribe them.

For Love is the spirit that holds the strength, the inevitable power, the bold defense.  For love is resolution, the surge through restitution.  Love is eternal, a form of universal evolution.

I heard, Love was sound for the deaf, sight for the blind.  A beat for the heartless, a type of sunshine.  I feel that Love is agape, Love is surprise, the glow in your pupil, that's Love in your eyes.  I know Love is a trip, but, Love is also a guide, for Love is the grip from above we must confide.

They say, love is dead, I say love is alive.  They experience a bit of bitter escape, and say that love is a lie.  They say, Love is so absurd, a pain with no worth,  Love is for the mentally disturbed, insane for you to claim its curse.

No!  Love is real, what you had, may have never been meant to be, you might have gave it your all, but that doesn't mean you give up its legacy.  Sometimes we fall for those, forgetting only God knows, so if it doesn't happen, that only means we deserve better than what we lost, hope.

What is love?  The light of the moon, the ray from the sun, the mystery of the abyss, the creation among.  Where is Love?  Deep in our souls, in the chambers of our heart, inside the hemispheres of our brain.  Within every shed of light to the strangers in the dark.  Love exists beyond time and measurement, for Love is uncanny, the extraordinarily element.  Without love, we are astoundingly weak, and the world is bleak, for Love is the foundation and the peak.  Love is necessary for internal and external peace.

"A Miracle of God's Love"

Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling.

They found out that the new baby was going to be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in mommy's tummy.

He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her.

The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the Panther Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee.

In time, the labor pains came.  Soon it was every five minutes, every three, every minute.  But serious complications arose during delivery and Karen found herself in hours of labor.  Would a C-section be required?

Finally, after a long struggle, Michael's little sister was born.  But she was in a very serious condition.  With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee.

The days inched by.  The little girl got worse.  The pediatrician had to tell the parents there is very little hope "Be prepared for the Worst," he told them.  Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot.

They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby but now they found themselves having to plan a funeral.

Michael, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister.  "I want to sing to her," he kept saying.

Week two in intensive care.  It looked as if a funeral would come before the week was over.  Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister.  Unfortunately kids were not allowed in Intensive Care.  Karen decided to take Michael in to see his sister whether they liked it or not.  If he didn't see his sister right then, he may never see her alive.

She dressed Michael in an over sized scrub suit and marched him into ICU.

He looked like a walking laundry basket.  The head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, "Get that kid out of her now.  No children are allowed!"

The mother instinct rose up strong in Karen, and the usually mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse's face, her lips formed a firm line, "He is not leaving until he sings to his sister," she stated.  Then Karen towed Michael to his sister's bedside.  He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live.  After a moment, he began to sing.

In the pure-hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang:
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray."

Instantly the baby girl seemed to respond.  Her pulse rate began to calm down and become steady.

"Keep on singing, Michael," encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes.

"You never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away."  As Michael sang to his sister, the baby's ragged, strained breathing became as smooth as a kitten's purring.

"Keen on singing, sweetheart," Karen coaxed Michael.

"The other night dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms."
Michael's little sister began to relax completely.  A healing rest seemed to sweep over her.

"Keep on singing, Michael."

Tears had now conquered the face of the bossy head nurse.  Karen glowed.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.  Please don't take my sunshine away ....."

The next day, the very next day .... the little girl was well enough to go home.

Woman's Day Magazine called it "The Miracle of a Brother's Song."  The medical Staff just called it a miracle.

Karen called it "A Miracle of God's Love."

Never give up on the people you love.  Love is so incredibly powerful.

Trust And Being Faithful!

This Is A Given Must.

The one thing in a relationship
That is a given must,
Is one filled with true love
And lots of given trust.

You've got to trust your mate
And believe in what they say,
Let the love blossom fully
In each and every way.

If that line is crossed
Where one has told a lie,
Because that person is afraid
And doesn't know why.
Don't go behind their back
Thinking you can get away,
There's always going to be a trail
That will lead your way.

So if you want a love
With the relationship that will endure,
Always be strong for them
And your love will always be pure.
Make sure they are your only one
No other are a must,
The only thing that will be true
Is faith, love and trust.

~ Robert Wolf  ~

Trust is the most important component of any relationship.  If you do not trust a person, you probably do not consider them your friend.  The building blocks of friendship are based on sharing the deepest parts of yourself and believing that they will be held sacred.  You believe this about your friend and he believes it about you.  The more you trust each other, the deeper the friendship that you have built.  If you don't have trust in your friend, you don't have friendship.

A Beacon of Light!

A channeled message from The Holy Spirit.  d/d 20/10/2011

Now is the time to show the world who you truly are.  Open your hearts and let the light shine out of you for all others to see and follow.  You are all uniquely different from one another.  Each one of you has been blessed with good qualities and wonderful gifts.  If you keep these qualities and gifts hidden what is the purpose of being unique?  Who of you wishes to be the same as another?  Not one of you, I am sure.  You were created to give to one another in every good possible way.

Freedom of speech, is a grace that I, your Creator has bestowed upon you.  Open your hearts, minds and voices and allow my Holy Spirit to work through you.  My Spirit will assist you to guide others in the right direction.

There are so many lost souls who are following in the footsteps of other lost souls.  These lost souls have lost themselves amongst the masses, and are fumbling around in the darkness.  They cannot distinguish from right or wrong anymore.  Right and wrong has the same meaning for them as it has been twisted to be so.  You see it is too much effort and discomfort for them to stand up for what is good and righteous.  It is very difficult for them to look within and to get in touch with who they truly are.  They prefer instead to let others do the leading and speaking on their behalf.  They have ultimately lost their own identities.

Do not be fooled for there are dark forces and energies at work amongst you.  These dark forces and energies wish to smother out the light within you.  How can you possibly sit back and allow this to happen?  I have given you your freedom to enjoy life to the fullest.  Embrace this grace that I have given you.  Treasure it with all of your hearts.

Your planet is changing and it is of the utmost importance for each one of you to join hands in love, peace, joy, steadfastness and strength.  Now is the time to shine your lights brighter than ever before.

"Yes, we want a new world.  Yes, we want love, joy, peace and abundance in our World.  Yes we want our children to enjoy the grace of "Life".  Thank you our dear loving Father for all of your blessings, now and forever.  Amen."

Consider this:

You may just be that "Beacon of Light" that the world is searching for!

Luke 8: 16-17

"No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed.  Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.  For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open"

Matthew 5: 14-16

"You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light so shine before others around you, that they may see your good works and give glory to your father in heaven."

Happiness is precious!

As you grow up, we learn that the people that weren't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others hearts. You'll blame a new love for things an old love did. You'll fight with your best friend, you'll cry because time is flying by, and eventually you'll lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Because every second you spend angry or upset, is a second of happiness you can never get back!

"Come out of your mind.

Let your heart love you

And claim you.

You will then feel

What true happiness is."

~Sri Chinmoy~

Key to My Heart!

I had closed the door upon my heart,
And wouldn't let anyone in,
I had trusted and loved only to be hurt,
But, that would never happen again.

I had locked the door and tossed the key,
As hard, and as far as I could,
Love would never enter there again,
My heart was closed for good.

Then you came into my life,
And made me change my mind,
Just when I thought that tiny key
was impossible to find.

That's when you held out your hand,
And proved to me I was wrong,
Inside your palm was the key to my heart ...
You had it all along.

Everyone is Special!

The Little Soul and the Sun.

Once upon a time, there was a Little Soul who said to God, "I know who I am."

And God said, "That's wonderful!  Who are you?"

And the Little Soul shouted, "I'm the Light!"

God smiled a big smile.  "That's right!"  God exclaimed.  "You are the Light."

The Little Soul was so happy, for it had figured out what all the souls in the Kingdom were there to figure out.

"Wow," said the Little Soul, "this is really cool!"

But soon, knowing who it was, was not enough.  The Little Soul felt stirrings inside, and now wanted to be who it was.  And so the Little Soul went back to God (which is not a bad idea for all souls who want to be Who They Really Are) and said,

"Hi, God!  Now that I know Who I am, is it okay for me to be it?"

And God said, "You mean you want to be Who You Already Are?"

"Well," replied the Little Soul, "it's one thing to know Who I Am, and another thing altogether to actually be it.  I want to feel what it's like to be the Light!"

"But you already are the Light," God repeated, smiling again.

"Yes, but I want to see what that feels like!" cried the Little Soul.

"Well," said God with a chuckle, "I suppose I should have known.  You always were the adventuresome one."

Then God's expression changed.  "There's only one thing ...."

"What?" asked the Little Soul.

"Well, there is nothing else but the Light.  You see, I created nothing but what you are;  and so, there is no easy way for you to experience yourself as Who You Are, since there is nothing that you are not."

"Huh?" said the Little soul, who was now a little confused.

"Think of it this way," said God.  "You are like a candle in the sun.  Oh, you're there all right.  Along with a million, gazillion other candles who make up the Sun.  And the sun would not be the Sun without you.  Nay, it would be a sun without one of its candles ... and that would not be the Sun at all;  for it would not shine as brightly.  Yet, how to know yourself as the Light when you are amidst the Light - that is the question."

"Well," the Little Soul perked up, "you're God.  Think of something!"

Once more God smiled.  "I already have," God said.  "Since you cannot see yourself as the Light when you are in the Light, we'll surround you with darkness."

"What's darkness?" the Little Soul asked.

God replied, "It is that which you are not."

"Will I be afraid of the dark?" cried the Little Soul.

"Only if you choose to be," God answered.  "There is nothing, really, to be afraid of, unless you decide that there is.  You see, we are making it all up.  We are pretending."

"Oh," said the Little Soul, and felt better already.

Then God explained that, in order to experience anything at all, the exact opposite of it will appear.  "It is a great gift," God said, "because without it, you could not know what anything is like.  You could not know Warm without Cold, Up without Down, Fast without Slow.  You could not know Left without Right, Here without There, Now without Then."

"And so," God concluded, "when you are surrounded with darkness, do not shake your fist and raise your voice and curse the darkness.  Rather be a Light unto the darkness, and don't be mad about it.  Then you will know Who You Really Are, and all others will know, too.  Let your Light shine so that everyone will know how special you are!"

"You mean it's okay to let others see how special I am?" asked the Little soul.

"Of course!" God chuckled.  "It's very okay!  But remember, 'special' does not mean 'better.'  Everybody is special, each in their own way!  Yet many others have forgotten that.  They will see that it is okay for them to be special only when you see that it is okay for you to be special."

"Wow," said the Little Soul, dancing and skipping and laughing and jumping with joy.  "I can be as special as I want to be!"

"Yes, and you can start right now," said God, who was dancing and skipping and laughing right along with the Little Soul.

"What part of special do you want to be?"

"What part of special?" the Little Soul repeated.  "I don't understand."

"Well," God explained, "being the Light is being special, and being special has a lot of parts to it.  It is special to be kind.  It is special to be gentle.  It is special to be creative.  It is special to be patient.  Can you think of any other ways it is special to be?"

The Little Soul sat quietly for a moment.  "I can think of lots of ways to be special!" the Little Soul then exclaimed.  "It is special to be helpful.  It is special to be sharing.  It is special to be friendly.  It is special to be considerate of others!"

"Yes!" God agreed, "and you can be all of those things, or any part of special you wish to be, at any moment.  That's what it means to be the Light."

"I know what I want to be, I know what I want to be!" the Little Soul announced with great excitement.  "I want to be the part of special called 'forgiving'.  Isn't it special to be forgiving?"

"Oh, yes," God assured the Little Soul.  "That is very special."

"Okay," said the Little Soul.  "That's what I want to be.  I want to be forgiving.  I want to experience myself as that."

"Good," said God, "but there's one thing you should know."

The Little Soul was becoming a bit impatient now.  It always seemed as though there were some complication.

"What is it?"  the Little Soul sighed.

"There is no one to forgive."

"No one?" The little Soul could hardly believe what had been said.

'No one!" God repeated.  "Everything I have made is perfect.  There is not a single soul in all creation less perfect than you.  Look around you."

It was then that the Little Soul realized a large crowd had gathered.  Souls had come from far and wide - from all over the Kingdom - for the word had gone forth that the Little Soul was having this extraordinary conversation with God, and everyone wanted to hear what they were saying.  Looking at the countless other souls gathered there, the Little Soul had to agree.  None appeared less wonderful, less magnificent, or less perfect than the Little Soul itself.  Such was the wonder of the souls gathered around, and so bright was their Light, that the Little Soul could scarcely gaze upon them.

"Who, then, to forgive?" asked God.

"Boy, this is going to be no fun at all!" grumbled the Little Soul.  "I wanted to experience myself as One Who Forgives.  I wanted to know what that part of special felt like."

And the Little Soul learned what it must feel like to be sad.  But just then a Friendly Soul stepped forward from the crowd.

"Not to worry, Little Soul," the Friendly Soul said, "I will help you."

"You will?" the Little Soul brightened.  "But what can you do?"

"Why, I can give you someone to forgive!"

"You can?"

"Certainly!" chirped the Friendly Soul.  "I can come into your next lifetime and do something for you to forgive."

"But why?  Why would you do that?" the Little Soul asked.  "You, who are a Being of such utter perfection!  You, who vibrate with such a speed that it creates a Light so bright that I can hardly gaze upon you!  What could cause you to want to slow down your vibration to such a speed that your bright Light would become dark and dense?  What could cause you - who are so light that you dance upon the stars and move through the Kingdom with the speed of your thought - to come into my life and make yourself so heavy that you could do this bad thing?"

"Simple," the Friendly Souls said, "I would do it because I love you."

The Little Soul seemed surprised at the answer.

"Don't be so amazed," said the Friendly Soul, "you have done the same thing for me.  Don't you remember?  Oh, we had danced together, you and I, many times.  Through the eons and across all the ages have we danced.  Across all time and in many places we played together.  You just don't remember."

"We have both been All Of it.  We have been the Up and the Down of it, the Left and the Right of it.  We have been the Here and the There of it, the Now and the Then of it.  We have been the Male and the Female, the Good and the Bad;  we have both been the Victim and the Villain of it."

"Thus have we come together, you and I, many times before;  each bringing to the other the exact and perfect opportunity to Express and to Experience Who We Really Are.  And so," the Friendly Soul explained further, "I will come into your next lifetime and be the 'bad one' this time.  I will do something really terrible, and then you can experience yourself as the One Who Forgives."

"But what will you do?" the Little Soul asked, just a little nervously, "that will be so terrible?"

"Oh," replied the Friendly Soul with a twinkle, "we'll think of something."

Then the Friendly Soul seemed to turn serious, and said in a quiet voice, 'You are right about one thing, you know."

"What is that?" the Little Soul wanted to know.

"I will have to slow down my vibration and become very heavy to do this not-so-nice thing.  I will have to pretend to be something very unlike myself.  And so, I have but one favour to ask of you in return."

"Oh, anything, anything!" cried the Little Soul, and began to dance and sing, "I get to be forgiving, I get to be forgiving!"

Then the Little Soul saw that the Friendly Soul was remaining very quiet.

"What is it?" the Little Soul asked.  "What can I do for you?  You are such an angel to be willing to do this for me!"

"Of course this Friendly Soul is an angel!" God interrupted.  "Everyone is!  Always remember:  I have sent you nothing but angels."

And so the Little Soul wanted more than ever to grant the Friendly Soul's request.  "What can I do for you?" the Little Soul asked again.

"In the moment that I strike you and smite you," the Friendly Soul replied, "in the moment that I do the worst to you that you could possibly imagine - in that very moment ..."

"Yes" the Little Soul interrupted, "yes...?" "Remember Who I Really Am."

"Oh, I will!" cried the Little Soul, "I promise! I will aways remember you as I see you right here, right now!"

"Good," said the Friendly Soul, "because, you see, I will have been pretending so hard, I will have forgotten myself.  And if you do not remember me as I really Am, I may not be able to remember for a very long time.  And if I forget Who I Am, you may even forget Who You Are, and we will both be lost.  Then we will need another soul to come along and remind us both of Who We Are."

"No, we won't!" the Little Soul promised again.  "I will remember you!  And I will thank you for bringing me this gift - the chance to experience myself as Who I Am."

And so, the agreement was made.  And the Little Soul went forth into a new lifetime, excited to be the Light, which was very special, and excited to be that part of special called Forgiveness.

And the Little Soul waited anxiously to be able to experience itself as Forgiveness, and to thank whatever other soul made it possible.  And at all the moments in that new lifetime, whenever a new soul appeared on the scene, whether that new soul brought joy or sadness - and especially if it brought sadness - the Little Soul thought of what God had said.

"Always remember," God smiled, "I have sent you nothing but angels."

The Law of Reflection applies to everyone and everything around you.  In other words the Universe reflects back honest and accurate aspects of yourself in a mirror and reveals your deepest secrets.  This gives you an opportunity to look at yourself in the mirror and change the aspects of yourself that you are unhappy with.  " As within so without."

Your reflection of yourself in the mirror may reveal that your eyes look heavy and tired, but you do not try and change the reflection, you merely eat a healthier diet and get more sleep, so that the reflection changes.

If there is someone in your life who you do not like, you can, of course spend precious time and energy trying to change him or her, but you will only be trying to change the reflection of yourself.  It is a form of denial and people who do this are known as rescuers.  To understand the Law of Reflection means to look at your own faults that are really projected on to someone else.  You observe the outer and change the inner.

Those people who are in your life and who you do not like are showing aspects of yourself you do not feel comfortable with.  For example, imagine your boss is completely disorganised and chaotic.  If you pride yourself on your togetherness and your sense of responsibility, you are probably angry at him for being so unlike you and may tell yourself he is not a mirror.

Nevertheless look within yourself and find the aspect of yourself that is untidy.  There may even be a part of yourself that wishes to be carefree and irresponsible.  Perhaps as a child you were kept under tight discipline or there were high expectations of you.  There may also be a part of you that is fearful of making a mistake or being careless.  You may have been expected to be in complete control and responsible at all times.  This can make it terrifying to let go.  The inner part of you that wants to be irresponsible is merely reflected in people around you, and this makes you angry at the chaotic part of yourself that appears in the mirror.

If there is someone who has an attribute which genuinely does not bother you, it does not reflect you and you will not even notice it.  In other words the more a characteristic in someone else bothers you, the more your soul is trying to draw a reflection to your attention.

People whom you admire are mirroring back aspects of yourself that you feel good about.  The magic mirror of the Universe is showing you a beautiful part of yourself that you may be in touch with.

Events in your life also mirror aspects of yourself that may or may not need to be changed within.  For an example say you notice three accidents, you might consider where you are going too fast or heading for disaster in your life.  Take notice of what is happening around you for these are signs and warnings.

Everything is a reflection.

Water represents your emotions, spirituality or purity (e.g. if your emotions are leaky you may have taps dripping, radiators leaking or roofs leaking etc.  If you are drawn to rivers, lakes and oceans this is the spiritual side of you that is being reflected.)

Fire represents anger, hostility or is a trans muter of negative energy (e.g. a camp fire or a fire in the hearth may indicate a peaceful centre on the other hand a rampaging out-of-control fire reflects anger and hostility of all those affected by it.)

Earth represents insecurity, procrastination or new growth (e.g. an earthquake reveals unstable foundations.  Or if you get stuck in the mud, it could mean procrastination.)

Air represents communication and new ideas (e.g. if you are sitting in a draught and it irritates you, it may be that some one's communication is irritating you on the other hand a fresh air blows away cobwebs.)

Even your car parts can reveal aspects about you for example:

Brakes failing - A warning to stop something you are doing.

No lights - Can you see where you are going?

Scratches or dents - Are you feeling battered or dented?  Maybe you have been over critical of yourself.

Broken horn - Is it time to speak up for yourself?

Flat tyre - Are you feeling deflated or is someone letting you down? How are you letting yourself down or not supporting yourself?

Flat battery - Have you run out of energy? Are you feeling flat?

Grating gears - Difficulty with making changes in your life.

If you can't work it out ask yourself,  look at the functions of the parts and pieces of the machinery, this will give you a clue as to what you need to work on in yourself or in your life.

Animals also reflect aspects of yourself and we often choose a dog consciously or subconsciously to match ourselves.

Steady, solid, tolerant and good-natured breeds include:
Basset hound, bloodhound, beagle, bulldog, Saint Bernard, mastiff, Irish wolfhound and Newfoundland.

Clever dogs who are trainable and observant include:
Doberman, Cardigan, Welsh Corgi, Shetland sheepdog and poodle.

Protective and territorial dogs include:
Boxer, rottweiler, bull terrier, chow chow, bullmastiff and giant schnauzer.

Friendly and affectionate dogs:
Border terrier, bearded collie, English terrier, English springer spaniel, golden retriever, old English sheepdog, Labrador, Cavalier King Charles spaniel and cocker spaniel.

Independent, strong willed animals include:
Afghan hound, Airedale terrier, Dalmation, greyhound, Irish setter, pointer and foxhound.

Consistent, self-contained and home-loving dogs are:
Chihuahua, dachshund, King Charles spaniel, pug, Pekingnese, whippet, Boston terrier and Maltese.

Even your plants and trees reflect back aspects of yourself.

Whatever situations, people, experiences, surroundings or gadgets are in your life, look into the mirror and see what they have to teach you.  Understanding the Law of Reflection enables you to expand your spiritual growth by looking at what life is telling you.  Our journey on Earth is fascinating and an exciting experience.

There are two ways to interpret what you see in the mirror.  One is that you are seeing your projection and the other that you are seeing an aspect that you have attracted.

Do not try to change someone else for they are reflecting you.  Look within and change yourself.
